Walking into the Midway contemporary Art center is an experience in itself, living here my whole life I've never been here before and I don't know why! I loved the pictures of the trees on the surrounding walls of the middle sculpture. They complimented the lead sculpture with its grey and black tones. There's a sense of emptiness and dread, while still capturing the simple beauty of evergreens. Evergreens are seen everyday in MN and it's surprising to look at one in this new light. It is stark and scary while being familiar and grand.
